Great post Annette - I hope plenty of writers read it. You really nailed the differences between the different publishing options. Most people don’t even think about distribution- but it is the single toughest piece of the publishing puzzle.

I wouldn’t leave Sonoma County- unless it is for Hermosa (which is such a neat place). Aside from the obvious weather factor, the thing I miss most about Cali is the friendly factor of the people.

I definitely rotate now, but as a kid, I would eat one group at a time. I was also one of those “can’t let food X touch food y!” Kids. And picky as all get-out. (I have evolved since then…)
