It's unwieldy and ridiculous, 5 pounds or so of metal, but it's something I grew up with, something that is undeniably his. It will not fit in my bag. I will have to get my license and drive his truck (which he also left to me) before I can use it. But it's mine

As nervous as I am there's a certain amount of excitement to going back. The 9-5 grind does Bad Things to my little autistic brain, but... routine. Friends. Paycheck. I'm doing my very best to stay positive about it rather than seeing it as an end to a long, beautiful break

It's definitely something I can't publish. Unless I do it on AO3, and even then, with the puritanical movement blazing through the online landscape, idk... it's probably not something I'll share with anyone other than like. One or two people. God is it fun tho
