this presupposes that everything written and published is meticulously considered and crafted. I have read a lot of trash fiction pumped out quick and friends I am here to tell you sometimes the curtains are just fucking blue
I used to think that the "the writer wrote that the curtains blue because they were blue" discourse was the invention of highschool kids, created out of frustration with being made to analyse literature they didn't care for. Realising that adults also actually believe that was brain destroying.

did u know: if u wanna play oblivion again that bad you almost certainly already own a version you bought years before microsoft bought Bethesda and you can instead play that instead of the new one that financially supports a more efficient genocide

the fact that kingdom hearts 1 is genuinely broken and Bad to Play tricked everyone in 2004 into thinking KH2 being a version that is Playable made it one of the greatest games of all time and it’s still pretty fucking clunky and bad a lot of the time
