The developers did implement a save system and we were able to reach the final mission (which we think is a placeholder; it is an endless horde mode that cannot be won). We still recommend it for your wishlist and we will be watching for content updates down the road.

Thanks for checking out the review! The odd difficulty spikes were the killer here. It makes you fret about weapon & augment choice and you end up second guessing yourself a lot. A constant ramp up is one thing but for it to fluctuate the way it did, killed the urge to jump right back in after dying
