I think my answer for both comes down to how awful I am at rejection or just being judged. If you aren't chill with me and all my quirks, my brain is going to be more worried about being rejected than anything else (yay trauma)

I mean it's not really something to be embarrassed about unless you really think about it for a while. Like if you really sit with it and have that "... wow I'm into all that stuff" realization it can be a little embarrassing
