As a full time mother to a 5 month old, and two kids, and a part time artist trying to keep her small art business going to help with living expenses, I have to say…this is rough🥴

I find that creating using other mediums aside from clay has been helping me cope with stress and anxiety lately. It’s also helping me with my art block.

For some reason I feel like I have an art block even though I have a whole list of beasties I can make🫠 So many things are frustrating me right now AND I’m exhausted from all that’s going on in my life at the moment. Maybe it’s that?

I was in the mood to make a bunch of tiny, chunky toads. I made about 9 of them just because I always have this urge to keep making the same beastie once I get started especially when it’s the smaller ones that I’m currently working on.

With these stressful days ahead, I find that people NEED to see happier things. I NEED to make happier things. At first I thought my beasties feels out of place during our current climate but then I realized that I actually need to keep going because I need to make things to make me happy!
