One of our recent publications appeared in EPJ C last month. Using 3.4 years of data, the #DEAP3600 experiment measured the half-life of a 39Ar isotope—and found it’s significantly longer than expected.

Our paper recently submitted to #JINST has been published! It explores methods for finding exact locations of particle interactions in liquid argon, reducing backgrounds, and improving the search for #darkmatter.

The ICRC is held biennially and brings together experts on #cosmicrays, #darkmatter, #neutrinos & more.

DEAP-3600 entered its cooldown phase—a gradual descent to cryogenic temperatures (-186°C) needed to operate with liquid Ar, the heart of the experiment. A weeks-long process ensures every component adjusts safely, preparing the detector to hunt for elusive #darkmatter. A new chapter in our mission❄️
