He will be old one day, hopefully he will get a taste of his own medicine.

Such a shame that they don't promote from within the BBC like back then in 1977. Instead of bringing in people because of political affiliation. Hopefully someone will get the job who actually cares about the BBC and the quality of its output and not just a bean counter!

Boris Johnson definitely needs investigating, he put a russian in the House of Lords, the son of an KGB agent.

The councils should be forced to reopen closed toilets, it's a basic human need. I would happily pay 50p to use the toilet as the council in North Yorkshire charges.

That's the thing @premnsikka.bsky.social , millionaires usually own businesses that rely on UK consumers, paying less tax just means less income for their businesses as poor consumers don't spend as much or as often.

These figures are from the UK, some beef is now priced at £14 per kilo.

Listening to him yesterday was just like listening to a child shouting at another child in a playground. No basis to the argument, just keeps going on about accusations of fake news. How did the American public stoop so low after having Obama as President? Cool, calm and a thinker.

Awful!

I recently had someone reply to me that I didn't know what I was doing bad mouthing russians and the quality of their vehicles!

My kids tried on in the entertainer a while ago and broke it, never would have happened in the 80's, mine had metal parts and big thick plastic!

Not as well made as the 1980's version!

99% of the people that drive these things don't know how wide they are! When travelling to work I see no end that think they are driving something as wide as a lorry and think they need to drive with a wheel in the opposite lane.

Those who can't work can't afford to defend themselves, those that don't want to pay tax can afford expensive solicitors and accountants.

Greedy little man just wants to prop up his failing businesses.

It's more annoying that they can say what they like in the US about us in the UK without fear of retribution, the BBC report on an event that actually occurred ( Trump knew what he was doing that day in 2021) and then threatening legal action against them.
November 10, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Trump and his supporters can say what they like about the UK and nothing happens, the Press report on an incident that he did cause when he lost the election in 2001 and organisations get threatened by legal action. He is just all about the money and greed.

Now you just have to get motorists to stop at it. We had one in our village on a main road, that many people ignored pedestrians crossing they put in a Pelican crossing instead.

Lucky if the bus was more than 1 metre away from the edge of the road!

How can the board defend this raise when sales are down? In England, the UK Exec's are just as bad, just on a lower rate of pay but still can't be defended. Nobody is worth in excess of a million pounds.

It won't be long before there is another scandal with the tory party, they will just implode like they did in previous times. If you are a Tory it's always all about the money and doing your best to get more of it.
