are not the police and to do them imperfectly and try to make it get better. I feel like it's hard for me when people are just like, "This doesn't work," because I'm just like... "Then what?" I think those of us who are anti-police don't get to give up on trying to resolve conflict together.

supported a survivor at all, instead of completely denying their experience- we're better than we were when we just called the cops. The bar is so low for how terribly we all treat each other. Can we not decide whether it works or not? Ee have no choice but to do things, to try to respond that...

This can happen when someone says no to us, especially if we aren’t used to direct communication, or if they were in a heightened state when they said it and it came out a bit harshly. Can we give each other a little forgiveness for this?
