I majored in history and have studied it all my life. The best parts of my checkered career were in writing and communication. As a lifelong Democrat, I look forward to communicating on Bluesky.

I want to attend a No Kings protest on October 18, but I can’t find my Antifa membership card. Also, when is George Soros going to send me my checks for the protests that I have attended so far?

Trump and the Republicans want you to die. After today’s long overdue Senate questioning of RFK, Jr., who can doubt this?

Trump and the Republicans want you to die. Show me any evidence to the contrary.

I just heard on CSPAN2 BookTV, in a discussion of private equity firms, that Chuck Schumer is the largest, single recipient in Congress of private equity firms’ donations.
Add that to the list of arguments for removing money from politics.

Trump and his Republican toadies want you to die. How can anyone explain their following RFK, Jr., down his rabbit hole toward Medieval medicine?

I hereby nominate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., for the Dr. Josef Mengele Excellence in Medical Science prize.

I finally understand why Trump denied raping E. Jean Carroll because “she is not my type.” She was older than 12 at the time.

I just made a donation to Harvard University, so I expect that they will name a Chair in History for me soon. Even if they do not, I encourage everyone to do the same.

Where is all of the Republicans’ condemnation of anti-Semitism since the arson attack on Gov. Josh Shapiro and his family during Passover? Maybe I just missed it.

Based on Jeffrey Goldberg’s Atlantic article, I question whether those involved in this security breach actually earned their positions based on merit.

"No man can suffer too much, and no man can fall too soon, if he suffer or if he fall in defense of the liberties and Constitution of his country."

Daniel Webster, from his last speech in the Senate, July 17, 1850.

The bad news: My Representative in Congress (Nevada CD 2) is Republican Mark Amodei. The good news: His last name ends in “DEI.”

I just went grocery shopping. I picked up a dozen eggs, but I have to wait until the escrow closes.

I was just listening to The Rolling Stones doing Sympathy for the Devil from their 1969 tour. It seemed quite timely.

So this is the “smaller government “ that Republicans have been whining for all these years?

We can define Donald Trump in three words: Waist, fraud, and abuse.

Pete Hegseth keeps referring to “warfighters.” Is calling them “soldiers” not macho enough?

“Conservatives” gutted the 15th Amendment and have started unraveling the 14th Amendment. That means the 13th Amendment is next.

In today’s eulogies and in other tributes to Jimmy Carter, I have heard several mentions of his foresight about climate change. They cite his placing solar panels on the White House roof. In keeping with his charity, they have not noted that Reagan had them taken down.
