Today is the 60th Anniversary of the Canadian flag 🇨🇦. The Maple Leaf flew for the first time on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on February 15, 1965. Before that Canada flew the Canadian Red Ensign from 1868-1965.

President and Mrs. Carter were two of my personal heroes. They were humanity personified and they practiced the same Christianity that Jesus, himself, practiced. May he RIP and have safe travels alongside his love, Rosalynn, for all eternity. Condolences to his family. 💙💔💙
