I'm not a big fan of Halloween, but in this case I'll make an exception.

Behold, my Larry Lounge Lizard kit comes back to life as an AI product manager costume.

Meanwhile, I'll be vibing together a webinar on building shit with AI for PMs is coming November 13th.

Be there, or be square.

When the smoke clears from the AI bonfire of hype & vibe, the last one standing won’t be “ChatGPT for Pets.” It’ll be some beige B2B company quietly using AI to catch fraud or reroute trucks. Not sexy. Not viral. Just printing money while others pivot.

Great product managers don't negotiate in features, timelines, or headcount. They negotiate in the currency of trade-offs.

I created IKEA-style instructions for making the most out of a free breakfast bar at a hotel.

I will post the prompt in my github library unders storytelling.

Thank you for the inspiration.

Being a manufacturing PM right now is like riding a unicycle across a tightrope during a windstorm—with a tariff tornado on one side & distributor déjà vu on the other. Trump Tariffs Topsy Turvy has suppliers jitterbugging and builders yelling, “Wait, which SKU are we building?”

Shopify just dropped the AI gauntlet. AI isn’t optional—it’s the job. For everyone. From prototypes to performance reviews, it’s embedded.

Curiosity isn’t enough—capability is required. As Tobi put it, “Everyone means everyone, all the time.”

Ever feel like enterprise frameworks were designed to slow you down? So many layers. So little learning. What’s your biggest frustration with scaling frameworks in the age of AI?

Join me Wednesday, April 9, at 1pm ET in the webinar, "UnSAFe at Any Speed."

Don't forget the blue beanie for usability ...

Yeah, I've written a series of reusable prompts that ask some questions, then create custom collateral.

I agree. And for those of us on the receiving end, I'd suggest turning it into a superpower. At least that's what I've done for the past. It's paid off.

I think I need help ... I mean ... It's not like I'm addicted or anything ... Maybe? 😏
April 5, 2025 at 9:37 AM
I can quit writing prompts to generate product manager fun anytime I want to ... at least that's what I told my therapist.

Tired of being just a calendar warrior & backlog whisperer?
Now you can be an action figure.

Dress it. Accessorize it. Tagline it.
Mint-condition PM greatness—powered by ChatGPT 4o.

Drop a comment & I’ll send the prompt via DM.

I thought I'd revive this 10-year-old meme, only this time I'd call out the 'garbage-in, garbage-out' "quality" of Bluesky content I'm seeing as a result of generative AI not being tempered with a human-in-the-loop step.

FYI folks, we teach how to avoid such GI-GO disasters at Productside.com

What does a product manager do? Wrong answers only, please.

Gallery of Failures.

Channeling my inner @emollick.bsky.social I've come to discover that, similar to the strawberry spelling conundrum, many generative AI tools can't render a pushcart with square cartwheels.

So far, I've tried OpenArt, DALL-E, Copilot, ChatGPT Plus, Grok, & Llama. Of course, YMMV!

Oops, here's a few more.

I'm not a cat lover, but know musician friends who are, on who's overcoming surgery. So I generated for them a collection and collage of #Caturday images in the mythological, linear & vibrant of Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli.

Hope you enjoy my art dabblings with various generative AI tools.

I'm ready!

Carbs, the struggle is real ...

I decided to piss everyone off. I'm tired of the politics + I'm tired of all the generated AI images looking the same.

I think I figured out a way to generate unique images in the style of artists I admire & respect that are satirical & different.

Here are 60s movie posters in a Saul Bass styling.
January 23, 2025 at 9:10 AM
I'm not trying to get political, I'm just trying to take an early '60s style movie poster I have some fun with a few play on words. The point is, these were created using a fingerprint style the artistic approach Saul Bass.

Dang, just when I got to everything in place to teach product management through interpretive wiggly-dancing ... this happens ...

... guess I should keep teaching how to use the PESTEL framework to help map out and anticipate external events that potentially render our roadmaps as roadkill.

Baltimore Ravens, let's go
And put that ball across the line
So fly on with talons spread wide,
Go in and strike with Ravens pride!
