This review highlights gaps in data coverage for youth, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people, and people with disabilities.

We hope highlighting these gaps will lead to further coverage in future to advance our understanding of psychological distress in these groups.

Attachment anxiety was linked with being more likely to notice distress in the self and others, but less likelihood of self-compassion.
