📽️Glad to see the little film "The Order" is still chugging along finding audiences in streaming. I am proud of the work we did on that film with a very limited budget.

📽️Film After a forty year film career, I decided to write a book, self publish it and send it to the universe not knowing where it would land. Then this year, I found out it is now in the Academy's Margaret Herrick Libraries Core Book Collection in the Cecil B. DeMille Reading room. What a finish.

#booksky,#film This year I completed my last motion picture property master job. My industry presented me with a McGuffin Award (Property Masters Guild) for my work on "Heretic". The Academy's Margaret Herrick Library accepted my self published, no agent book into the Core Book Collection.

My Oscar Nominated wife "Unforgiven" set decorator Janice bought the hookers beds from the Greeley's set. They have been in our spare room for 34 years. Now we are going to see if there is interest in the auction world for two pieces of Hollywood Best Picture "Unforgiven" history.

#Film #Moviesky Oscar Day! It is now 32 years since Janice and I were in the Dorothy Chandler Auditorium watching "Unforgiven" win Best Picture. For me the journey to that night started with me picking flowers in a ditch for Clint on Day one of filming with a teamster. Full video is on Substack

In Honour of Gene Hackman, and Oscar weekend there is a wonderful featurette on the making of "Unforgiven" on Youtube. It was the perfect set to work on. Everything portrayed in this behind the scenes look shows how lean, and smart the entire crew was. Gene and the cast were a joy. #Film #Moviesky
