Got a message from a friend today. They interviewed a woman that was a former student of mine for a job. She talked about how much I had helped her along the way when she was struggling in school. I never expected to be someone’s interview answer. This is a compliment of the highest order.

Accidentally bought golden mushroom soup instead of cream of mushroom soup for tater tot hotdish. I’m not saying I unlocked some new version that improved upon the original, I’m just saying it was pretty darn good.

There were times I was unsure my kid would earn his HS diploma. He’s never given up and keeps fighting. He’s still got work to do but the light at the end is getting brighter all the time.

I think I’m going to opt out of the holidays this year. If anyone says or asks about anything holiday related, I’m responding with a polite “No, thank you.”

I enjoyed threads longer than I expected I would but think it has run its course for me. I want to be hopeful on this platform but I suspect the magic of early Twitter is gone forever. Maybe that’s a good thing?
