SEA WATER QUALITY TESTS AT WALMER CASTLE BEACH REMAIN "EXCELLENT"
Walmer Town Council collected samples of sea water on 13 October 2025. Tested by an independent accredited company, the results came back as excellent. Other samples in April, July, and August near Walmer Castle were also excellent.

Part of Church Street, Walmer, is due to be closed to traffic on Wednesday 10 December for drainage works by Kent County Council. The closed section of road is from Walmer Court Lodge to the A258 Dover Road.

Walmer Town Council collected a sample of water from the sea on the 27th August 2025. This was tested by an independent accredited company, the results for both samples of sea water came back as excellent.
