Don’t be so damn disingenuous. Gay people are a marginalized group of people FFS, and they still face massive amounts of bigotry and hate around the entire world, especially from American Christians. Labels are used because they are important, period. If that triggers you, then YOU are the problem.

The US is not a safe destination now for people of other countries. Boycott the USA! (Spoken by a US citizen who has travelled in a few edgy countries.)

Moral of this story and all of the others; it is not safe for anyone to travel to the US. It’s not really safe for those of us who live here either but that’s a different story.
