I’m sure I had a few minor jump scares before in games, but there were two games that I played around the same time that are the first I remember scaring me properly!

Resident Evil, with the dogs… & Shadowman, with Jack II dropping from the ceiling!

Both of those got me leaping from the chair!

A slightly odd dream I had from 7 years ago (from Facebook)
Actual stuff that happens in my dreams (No.1 in a series of who knows) Showing some Italian couple (who I'm supposed to know but don't) around town...They say they need to stop and buy some food to take back to their hotel.... Go into a shop to buy food. Get food. Hand shopkeeper some money. She looks down at it, then looks at me in disgust... "What's this?" she says... "Money!?" I reply, confused... She looks at me, with an incredulous, annoyed face... "This is Dream Money!!" She shows me the money, which has a lot of weird pictures and text on it that I've never seen before... "Oh!" I'm shocked & surprised...then I look at the food on the counter....and have a moment of realization... "Well...wait a minute........ This is f**kin' dream food!!" Now the shopkeeper is surprised as she examines the food... "Oh....good point.....oh, uhm....sorry..." and she looks really confused and slightly worried... I turn to look at the couple beside me, who also look confused and shake my head in an annoyed 'can you believe this?' type way.... Wake up.....
