thank you!!!

Usually when I go quiet I lose anywhere from 1/4th to 1/3 of my followers, but I'm so relieved to see how many people stay, especially my mutuals. I'm hoping 2026 treats me so much nicer than 2025, and I wish the same for anyone reading! Thank you for sticking around, truly.

Now, looming financial crisis because of my job not scheduling me for 2 weeks has thrown me back into doing commissions and working on overdue art, which is a small blessing honestly. I'm going to be posting a lot of my backlog while I'm finishing this batch of art and open comms again here. +

On top of all that, I started ADHD meds finally, which for a month straight stole all my creativity from me. I felt so hollow and boring, but it's okay now.
The guilt of having owed art now a year overdue made me shy away from posting any of my art publicly. +

I found an apartment, by the sheer grace of the landlord allowing me to make partial payments for all the move-in fees, and a month later my best friend from states away became roommates. I started a new job again with the promise of better pay and more hours, which still has yet to happen. +

They did not inform us their gf, who goes to college, was going to be temporarily living there too. I didn't have an apartment by my move-out date and left most my stuff there. The 2 of them proceeded to rifle through my food and belongings and by the end of it tried to hold my stuff hostage. +

I managed to find a job quickly enough, but I was due to move out at the end of June and didn't have a new place lined up. The same person who took advantage of me and my roommate, we agreed to move in early under the stipulation they pay their 1/3 split of rent and utilities. +

December was full of a lot of irl people and friends going through immense struggles that I tried to help with, which led to me being taken advantage of financially by someone who was homeless at that time. February things calmed down, until April, when I lost my job due to business closure. +

I appreciate hearing that, I've only told very few people how stressful it's been, and I know I'll make it through, but it's still nice to have support regardless. Thank you <3

losing your job absolutely fucking sucks especially a month before you move -100/10 one of the worst experiences ever

I'm so so proud of this look in particular because nearly everything is either hand sewn or crafted from scratch or heavily altered to make a custom piece. This was such a labor of love and I really want to take him to renfaire, and play him in a campaign!

As always I appreciate the mutuals and followers that stay, with artfight a month away I hope to be posting more! I have one piece of owed art to finish first, so I want to have that done before July!
