I'm sure your style will show through the art and game as development progresses and more assets are created, even what you already have is still unique to you. Nothing wrong with taking inspiration from an existing franchise!

Without enough context and ease-of-use/quick tutorials, so much can get overlooked by play-testers from my experience. Very valuable though, I have an long laundry list of fun bugs to quash.
