There's an outdoor sunset showing of The Lost Boys in my hometown. So obviously, we are here with a flask full of Jack Daniels. They are using the original 80s tech to make it more authentic. #horrorsky

I felt pretty miserable when I woke up today. But then I noticed this in the mail, and it brightened my day. It's an old set with nothing fancy in it. But I didn't have these on any disc form before.

100 horror movies this year so far. Looks like my scope has been pretty wide. But there's definitely been some blind spots this year. South America is the biggest miss for me considering how much good horror comes from different parts of the continent. I need to pay attention to that. boxd.it/CiAIC

My wife shared a picture of us three years ago, and I literally startled when I saw it. I didn't even realize how much I have changed in a few years. I cropped it next to a more current photo, and it's pretty crazy.

Back to normal. It's been quite a month with so many unusual things. Now it's time to get back to routines for six weeks, and then it's summer vacation time. It's finally warm in here and I can go out like this.

Awfully non-routine month going on. So my horror quota has gone down. Luckily, from the next week, everything goes back to normal. I have managed to get something checked, at least. The last three were all mildly disappointing but not bad movies.

It's pretty cold still, and there's just shadow in the lifting yard. Maybe +5c or close to that. Better to keep a good pace. 😅

After days of poetic creative storm, I have been just hanging around at home resting the whole day, but enough is enough. I need to put on some Nine Inch Nails, go do some weight lifting in the sun, and enjoy the fresh air.

It's time to get back to the regular day rhythm after being sick and Easter holiday on top of that. Lifting, work, and so forth. I had a few realizations over that period about what I want to focus on atm creatively. It took quite a rollercoaster of emotions to get there.

I am gonna start Kings Green Mile. I haven't gone through that many books this year so far. Six or something. I am a very feelings based consumer of culture. Sometimes listening just to music for a week, podcasts for another, books for a third, or just mixing it all up.

This is me in total relaxation mode.😂 The last week and a half drained me. Horror movies, maybe reading a book. That's about where my energy levels are today. I need to chill because tomorrow there's gonna be people over for dinner and board games. Maybe some Zombicide, but at least some Resistance.

He seems to have quite a few horror movies under his belt. I need to take a closer look and maybe make an LDP horror retrospect. I did a Julian Sands one a while ago.

I am back to the normal schedule with contradicting feelings. 😂 Routines are nice, but so is vacationing. Up at 5:30, lifting weights, work, and so forth vs. starting a day with a horror movie.
