Do the Cubs ever actually try to win anymore though? Squeaking into the playoffs is fun I guess, but they haven’t been a serious team in nearly a decade now.

Honestly with the starting pitching as it is and the offense dragging ass for the 2nd half of the season, getting past the Padres was probably the best it was going to get.
