Before discussing China's Type 24 Rifle, we have to talk about Germany's Standardmodell. Designed in 1924, the Mauser Standardmodell is a 8×57mm carbine developed from the Gewehr 98 and is similar to the later Karabiner 98k. These were Germany's World War I and II service rifles, respectively.

Another preview for the Weapon Art Pack #1 accessory update. Here we have the QBB-95 (QJB-95) light machine gun with a 3x scope and 30-round box mag. Both box and drum mags will be available for all members of the Type 95 family, as well as two different scopes.

Completely different weapon. You're thinking the QBZ-191 and it's a disproven myth. They were using rubber ammo in the video and there are countless videos of the QBZ-191 using standard ammo without issue.

Compare a DBF-07 rubber bullet case (1) to one in the video (2) and to standard DBP-191 (3).

Chinese Type 84S. The Type 84S is a semi-auto-only version of the Type 56 Automatic Rifle, but chambered in 5.56 NATO. It was originally developed for the North American civilian market, but select-fire Type 84 Automatic Rifles have also been produced for military contracts.

It's been awhile since we did a preview, so here's a look at the Type 53 Rifle from our upcoming Twilight: 2000 Chinese weapons supplement. The Type 53 is a licensed copy of the Soviet Model 1944 Carbine and the standard-issue rifle of the PLA from 1954 until the adoption of the Type 56 family.
