2025 one. legacy sequel done absolutely right
the plot made sense, they didn’t overuse the legacy sequel, allowing the new gen to get most of the shine
having the killer be a legacy character was the ballsy move no other franchise had the guts to do
wish they used JLH better tho

thematically the richest of the new trilogy. Michaels evil spreading through the town, causing a new killer to rise. 1st time where the kills aren’t random and people are targeted for a reason.

early 80’s slasher written and DIRECTED by women. although it was shot as a classic horror movie, it was written as a parody, which made the movie much funnier than other slashers of the time. Also clearly touched on feminist topics.

although very recent, smile 2 is very close to a perfect movie. The themes of mental health and addiction really tie well within the movies plot

unpopular but: the gay subtext makes this movie so interesting to me. By far the most different of the franchise, in the best way.
