I’m mostly kidding. I’ve seen theories that Cogita is actually Cynthia, given Cogita makes a lot of vague statements about immortality and stuff, and I honestly think that’s more likely.
But considering Volo more closely resembles Cynthia, and he uses almost the same team of Pokemon, I think Volo-

In Pokemon Legends ZA, it’s implied that Volo from Legends Arceus is actually still alive ( the Lumiose museum implies he directly contributed to one of their exhibits ).
So… is it possible that Volo and Cynthia are the same person????

Okay so I just realized something.

I doubt it’s the reason why, but while Chikorita look identical between the male and female, Chikorita’s final evolved form, Meganium, is visibly sexually dimorphic, where the male’s antennae will be longer than the females ( pictured below )
