I think it needs to be clarified that should also include, "People who thought it was OK to ignore what Epstein was doing because they wanted some of his money or influence to come their way." Like even if Clinton *wasn't* having sex with the underage girls, he saw them and knew what was happening.

I'm still trying to figure out if that was the angle Megyn Kelly was going for, or if she was actually trying to say it was somehow *worse* because Epstein specifically looked for girls he could take out in public and dare people to say something. Like how Trump does his face makeup deliberately bad

I thought the UK was much better at providing in-home care though? Do they provide that for mothers after giving birth or only for long-term illness?

My father passed away in July. He was in the hospital for 15 days prior. Bill from Inova for those 15 days was $160,000, though they did no heroic measures since he had a DNR. His coinsurance covered about $3000 and Medicare paid/adjusted *all the rest*. But he died convinced "Socialism" was evil.

As someone who lives in VA, you do need to understand that our economy is already STRUGGLING due to the DOGE massacre, and the pay freeze is hurting all kinds of businesses here that depend on gov't workers. I'm not super happy but I get where Kaine is coming from as a VA Senator.

OK I just caught up on this, and it's amazing! Also though it's frustrating because many states *would make it very difficult for a dog to be rescued this way* because they have adoption rules that make rescuing dogs way too hard. I hope this story inspires some reflection by those places :)

In Newsom's framing, he seems to think he does support trans rights, but that somehow playing in a sport is not a basic civil right? He never seems to clearly articulate what he means about it...

I think a strategy more directly going after the media and calling them out for failing to cover important issues might have helped. Like how her big "closing argument" speech/event got almost completely ignored because Biden made a *slight* gaffe the same day.

Also, I would assume there's a good deal of evidence to dispute the "had to be" part of the claim as well?

I mean... some times you can break rules in service of a higher goal, like civil disobedience where you get arrested to make the regime seem like oppressors for arresting you... but also, sure, John Edwards helped kids fight corporations but also cheated on his wife while she was dying of cancer...
