The thing that I don’t hear mentioned much about the tariffs is that even domestic producers who don’t rely on imports will raise prices…because they can. Lumber, for example. If my Canadian competition gets slapped with a 25% tariff then I’m raising my prices too, because why not. #tariffs

Flew back home to US from Sweden yesterday and we were racing another plane for about 30 minutes. I prefer a window seat, but as I get older I can begin to sense I’ll be an aisle seat guy eventually.

Why used Christmas vinyl is the best:
It’s inexpensive (one dollar is over-paying);

I was really enjoying doing double exposures with leaves/flowers vs other stuff this autumn. I started this technique of putting plant matter directly over the pinhole years ago. I see it a lot nowadays from others so it started to bore me. So had to add another twist.

My uncle recently went into a home (Parkinson’s). my mom gave me his box of, as she says, camera stuff.” 2 cameras had film in them including an old Ansco box camera with some Verichrome inside. I really am hoping I can pull some images from this roll. I’ll stand develop in rodinal. #foundfilm

I’m excited for these photo print display mounts that I made from some rough slabs of cedar that my brother cut. 3 are for an upcoming exhibit and the fourth is for a gift for my parents. Small magnets will keep the prints in place. All are for some #solargraphy prints.
