As the people of Sunchild First Nation, we remind you that you are on Treaty Lands. We signed Treaties prior to the establishment of provinces, we did not cede any lands to the province. It is of blatant disregard on your part to think that our people do not have a voice, we are the First Peoples of this land called Turtle Island. We will not be subjects to an inclusion of a separation. We as Sunchild First Nation do not give “consent” to your efforts. Be mindful that, as a Nation, we are here, and continue to maintain our footprint on these lands, as our ancestors did. We demand that you “Cease”, your separatist effort immediately.
