The detective woke up hogtied and tapegagged with seemingly no way out. His next move was to (choose your own adventure!) A. MacGyver a way out of the ropes and hightail it out of dodge, or B. remain captive and hope his partner would find him and not get hogtied right next to him (boundmike)
