With the server move, and a lot of players having to change their character names, SSG decided to also give us 10 free surname changes with the code MYLASTNAMEIS (expires Dec 31). I decided to take advantage of this and give a few of my characters that didn't have a surname a surname. The bards on my alt account, got the surname "The Singer".

If you've been following my blog for a while, you may remember this one: EEraids revival (Orien). I have enjoyed having that channel, and until the server transfers opened, I was still advertising for it. But, people have been asking for a removal of the password, and with the new server (I and my guild are now on Moonsea), I felt it was time to retire EEraids, and to replace it with a new one.

Phoenix Clan has moved
If you've been following the DDO news you know that SSG has opened 3 new 64 bit servers, and they want everyone to move to them (or Cormyr, the already existing 64 bit server) by August 31. After August 31 the 32 bit servers will be turned off, temporarily, to then be brought back as ghost worlds (think HC after party), where you cannot quest, but can pack up and transfer your toon from.

We will have more on timing of our new worlds and transfers within the next 24 hours. We are making a change in our process and guidance, which is that when transfers are available, characters will not be able to Pack with items in their Reincarnation Cache. Thank you! #DDO
