Sadly, I’ve come to believe that valuable medical resources can no longer be wasted trying to save those who never believed in medical science to begin with. It’s sad they spawned an innocent child who was killed by their choice. That’s manslaughter at least! What else could be done with that $ ?

And, government intervention in the form of politically modified fuel economy exemptions have forced American mfgs to only build vehicles that are useless anywhere but the North American continent. It’s ignorant politics at its finest

I worked on a physician manpower study for the Royal College of physicians in the 1980s. We identified the problem then and made recommendations to increase medical school output. Artificial enrollment quotas never work. Sadly another dumb political solution to a problem they don’t understand.

I was there in the early 1980s when we saw the beginning of private surgical and healthcare facilities. At that time, the excuse given was that it would serve the workers compensation board injuries to get workers back to work faster than going through the regular system. Bad then, bad now.
