Today I needed to replace a simple part of my mower. Rather than shopping online, I searched up the nearest mower shop and was back in 20 minutes just like we did before the turn of the century.

From On Tyranny, Timothy Snyder, I’m paraphrasing: “in the 1930’s the nazis used a new media (radio) to reach an audience at a scale and speed that outmatched their opponents”. Didn’t the dems just lose because of Xitter and Joe Rogan? And in-fighting and purity tests?

Agree as well as some other details. Also the viewer knowing some things now rather than later as in the books.
