Likes football and science-y stuff. Dislikes state owned football clubs.
There was a Reddit post about Haaland's 5th goal which must have been a direct translation from another language, because they called it a "small hand". I think that needs to be formally adopted.

Because we sack managers in the middle of the season. LvG and Mourinho arguably had some of their best form in the first few months of their reign. If we'd sacked Ten Hag after the FA cup final like Spurs did with Ange we'd have a much better idea of if Amorim is actually up to much.

Which is to be expected, since he lifted it from a tape recording of John Lennon trying to sort out his memoires!

Genuinely astounded at that post. Is this new centrist 'trickle down infrastructure' or something?

I wonder how many of the 0.3% of people who can't speak English in this country are causing a real problem (for anyone other than themselves, I suppose)?

In totally unrelated news [NOT], more than half of Britain’s 59 native butterfly species are in long-term decline

They're a small sample of insect species, but are well monitored with a variety of lifecycles. If they're declining, so will other invertebrates be

You're missing a Robbie Savage masterclass.

Human rights are surprisingly flexible when you change who you consider human.

I have no particular horse in this race, but that is literally what he said.

Obviously he's trying to get the ball. It's just incredibly clumsy.

He's not deliberately trying to hit him in the head.

Not sure you'd find many people who agree he wasn't just clumsily trying to get the ball. Seemed pretty obvious to me.

If you're trying to argue that the Baleba challenge was a deliberate attempt to hurt Zirkzee and not just really clumsy then that's your call, but I don't think you'd find many people who agree.

Probably something about double jeopardy and not being punished twice?

Was £2-3m according to the people who broke the news of his sacking.

rather than being tempted to dismiss it was corporate virtue signalling or anything like that. That definitely the case with some of the piggybacking organisations, but with football and it's homophobia problem it really was a direct effort to force change by genuine people 2/2.

I think it's more true in the Premier League than others for the reasons you stated. The entire Rainbow laces initiative only exists because Stonewall have basically made it impossible for the PL and it's money driven attitude to not take on board. Feels like something we should be proud of 1/2

Feel this is a bit disrespecting to the work Charities do to force the footballing establishments into these actions. They don't do it because they want to, they do it because they're shamed to the point where they can't not.

Haha I think I'd give it a 5.5/10, would have gotten a really good review if I'd had to turn my brain off just a little less to get through it. Denzel was on fire.

Would 100% pay to watch a Ridley Scott mockumentary about how he Romans got sharks 20 miles in land to the Colosseum though.
