That’s not true — Oz immediately went over, caught the man and cared for him until the White House Medical Unit team arrived.
November 7, 2025 at 2:34 PM
Respectfully, there were plenty of people who were fixated on the identity of the man and what his collapse allegedly revealed.

A top trending item on X this morning still invokes the "Novo Nordisk executive."

If we can't fix this small, defined error, what does that say about the bigger stuff?

I was focused on one specific, provable fact, and how it got warped.

In terms of Trump's viral photo — it's evocative. It speaks for itself.

But it appears to be a split-second shot. You can see from the video — Trump immediately stood up and turned to look. (RFK Jr, meanwhile, did go to get help)

They don't look that alike — one has dark eyebrows, the other doesn't, for instance.

I've talked to people with direct knowledge. The man who collapsed was not a mid-level Novo Nordisk staffer based in Switzerland.

Most important:

*Novo Nordisk confirms Gordon Findlay was not in the Oval Office.*

One thing that public health and pharma industry people are watching today: whether Trump will *again* question if the GLP-1 drugs work, even as he touts his price-cut deal.

(There's considerable evidence they work.)

Here's an example of Trump's skepticism:

A sleepy Senate Commerce hearing on transportation nominees devolves into a heated fight between Sens. Jacky Rosen (D) and Bernie Moreno (R), with Rosen accusing Moreno of tracking her team’s car VIN numbers.

Rosen: That seems a little creepy

Moreno says he’s exposing hypocrisy

Markey pushes on this in a Senate hearing today focused on labor issues.

"The White House could have exposed workers and passerbys to deadly asbestos," @markey.senate.gov suggests, saying he still hasn't received any answers to his questions on asbestos protections.

Met a woman named Quynh outside the White House today, holding this sign.

She said she was a "proud DC resident" who had been doing a daily vigil to contrast the risk of SNAP benefits expiring vs the construction of Trump's $300M ballroom.

Commissioners received terse emails this afternoon from the White House, terminating them from the agency.

The commission was established by Congress over a century ago to advise on DC projects. Its members, all Biden appointees mid-term, included architects and urban planners.

From the Gabfest to his books, I’m a devoted Dickerson fan — particularly for his wit and wisdom.

Who else could write a lede like, “Is a shoe-throwing journalist who tries to undermine authority a sabot auteur or a saboteur?”

My toddler wanted to read FROG AND TOAD tonight, and I’d forgotten how charming it was — a refresher after a long week. I hope it can be a little beacon of light for you, too.

The White House itself is exempt from a federal preservation law that requires reviews — and the East Wing is mostly demolished.

But I spoke with @sarabronin.bsky.social, who led a key watchdog agency under Biden + believes there's still a narrow, potential path to file suit and pause the project.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation — a nonprofit created by Congress to help preserve historic buildings — also called Tuesday to pause demolition of the East Wing until Trump's project could go through a transparent review.

The lead story on The Washington Post today is about the No Kings rallies, and it’s already drawn 5,000-plus comments.

I was browsing the top replies, which come from all over the country but hit similar notes: the rallies were peaceful, unifying and focused on protecting democracy and rule of law.

Here's a sample error we found and flagged to CMS officials this morning:

- duplicative addresses that either say a provider is covered by your plan (✅) or not (❌)

Officials were rushing to fix errors we spotted today. But as of 830 pm, I was still seeing this.

White House releases doctor’s note from Trump’s visit to Walter Reed

Like past notes from his team, it contains a Trumpian brag not seen w past presidents:

“His cardiac age … was found to be approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age.”

Notably got the flu and covid vaccines

Dr. Oz announces that TrumpRx.gov is now live.

If you click, you'll see — it's essentially just a banner ad for now.

U.S. officials have said it will formally launch in January 2026 and help Americans find discounted drugs.

KFF finds partisan split on Tylenol

Most Republicans (56%) say they think it’s definitely or probably true that taking Tylenol during pregnancy increases the risk of kids with autism.

Most Dems (86%) say it’s definitely or probably false.

Multiple medical associations have said there’s no link.

Trump heading to Walter Reed on Friday for a "planned meeting" and his annual check-up, White House says.

Then — maybe — heading to Middle East.

Huh — BILL CASSIDY, who chairs the Senate's health committee, is demanding answers from the American Medical Association over its coding system.

CASSIDY: "I am actively reviewing the government-backed monopoly around CPT codes and the impact on patient health care costs."
