You are so uninformed. Companies move jobs overseas because it is cheaper. It has nothing to do with tariffs. Now let’s assume the companies bring manufacturing jobs back to the US. It will take 5-10yrs. That added cost will then increase the price of goods. It’s a lose-lose result.

Good article. I think it accurately summarizes the fragile state of our economy. I completely agree that a majority of the recent positive earnings were driven by companies stockpiling to get ahead of the tariffs. Let’s see what the second half of the year looks like.

And you have??? Please. Insurance companies are the middleman and are not providing a great service. They add to the overall cost of medical care. I am in favor of a national plan that provides catastrophic care and everyone needs to contribute.

You are incorrect on how it is funded. In order for the overall cost to be anything remotely affordable, EVERYONE has to contribute towards the purchase of healthcare.
The ACA was not perfect but it does try to address the high costs of healthcare.
