I still think about your cosmic zoo game from a while back. It was definitely rough, but something about it just clicked with me.

For what it's worth, I've been seriously impressed with everything you're moving along so quickly. My current rate is 1 game every 2-ish years!

Yeah, the rings one is great too. The others are good. The last one just looks like my kid's bedroom floor, haha!

Long barreled revolver in one hand, cigarette in the other. That radiator is about to get Messed Up.

Ah, that’s where they get you. millions aren’t all that impressive now, smh

What’s the conversion rate for doll hairs to action figure hands?
October 16, 2025 at 2:04 PM
I almost guessed #5 correctly after looking at the river, but the X made me think discard.
October 11, 2025 at 6:49 PM
For “Gain”, a plus sign would help a ton. i probably would have guessed right on #1 and #3 just from that.

3. Looks like a domino. Dashes instead of numbers though, so either doesn’t matter or means negate.

4. There are x’s on the player boards. That’s it.

5. Card with arrow suggesting place. then an X, so either a #4 X or “discard”?

6. Looks like hex tile. Arrow point up suggests ”take”, not “place”.
October 11, 2025 at 6:46 PM
1. Looks like action and the card is bigger than the #2 card.

2. Smaller card and shows top and bottom, like the small cards have. No arrows, so probably not “place”. Not the same icon as #1 though, so not sure.

I can give reasons why I thought each, if that’s helpful.

I love these sorts of exercises, btw!
October 11, 2025 at 11:46 AM
1. Activate one of the big cards
2. Do one of the actions on the small cards
3. Negate a domino
4. Place an X (on your board? Your opponents?)
5. Discard a big card???
6. Remove (maybe change the position of?) a tile

Everyone knows the original knockoffs were Snailiens!

”playful without being juvenile”… I’m not an word buff, but “jovial” comes to mind. Maybe not quite the same, but close?

This is starting to look like Flick Fleet: 1800s
October 5, 2025 at 3:06 AM
Yeah, much more nuanced strategy, and probably a lot more helpful in late stages. I like it!
October 2, 2025 at 2:57 PM
I’ve done something similar before, where each player does some very algorithmic min/max type of strategy, just to see how they fair against a real player.

Can confirm it’s really helpful!
