First I don’t think this is true at all. People are just fed up with what Twitter evolved into since it’s called X. It only has more users, for now. Second I very much don’t care at all about “social rejects”. What I fear are people who think more about themselves just for being normal. 🧐

It’s more like I get content I’m interested in and not everything feeling like clickbait. Also not everything contains a video and is moving around while scrolling through the feed. 😉
Twitter had the same feeling when I joined about 15 years ago. 😬
