Agreed. I would add that many of these outcomes are dependent on the types of papers accepted for review. There is a lot of variability in submission type.

I am also over the average suggestion of reviews so I’m thinking more about what’s a reasonable amount of reviews/balancing review requests.

I’ve received quite different takes on peer reviewing. Many say 10 is too much. That doesn’t begin to include AERA reviews or other types of review such as funding proposals.
