There's no conspiracy. It's simply a media hungry for a crisis.

And it feels like no one really did anything about it.

What if you hate mornings?
February 5, 2026 at 2:56 PM
It's just a game to the media. "Can we cause another PM to resign for a bit of drama?"

Surprised he's planning to do anything considering the most recent Epstein release.

I bet they're nowhere near as productive as they think. 9-9-6 does not make you a good worker.

Apart from the modified maize starch and other additives.

But... I don't know who you are...

Yes yes yes

It's Bailey's for me. £10 at Sainsbury's. It's probably cheaper than coffee these days.
December 3, 2025 at 9:13 PM
Probably. But you need balls and popularity to overcome the bad press.
November 28, 2025 at 4:00 PM
I guarantee that if you spoke to most Labour MPs about this, they'd privately admit to their frustration over it.
November 28, 2025 at 3:58 PM
I don't disagree. How do they get around the fact that the people doing this have so much power it's impossible to solve? The media (I really mean those privately held businesses that use it to their own ends), some big businesses and foreign influence have too much power & influence over the public

Things can change quite quickly in politics. If they get it wrong, they'll pay a huge price at the ballot box. But I think there's still time, if the economy picks up and immigration is brought under control because that's all people seem to be bothered about (not me I hasten to add)
November 28, 2025 at 3:06 PM
Which problems do you think they are deliberately making worse? I'm interested to know, not being argumentative.
November 28, 2025 at 3:04 PM
But change like that takes time. It's like we have no patience any more. The problems are so deep rooted that it's going to take years before we're back on a path most people are comfortable with.

Most of the time it is the housing at issue and not the tenant. The Local Authority I work at sees it all the time. It's quite appalling that private landlords get away with it so much.

Compelling someone to share data is illegal. This is only just the right side of that, and certainly against the spirit of data protection rules.
November 25, 2025 at 2:31 PM
You're so wrong on this. We had trickle vents, opened windows, used a dehumidifier and still had problems. It was the house that was the issue, not us.
