I guess I don’t understand how most un-informed voters are able to separate the economy from their own pocketbook. In this most recent election the economy was improving and in good health. But so many people didn’t believe it because of the price of eggs and their personal circumstances.

YES! Keep it simple. Make it about them not some stranger they don’t know (or even their neighbor). People vote their pocketbook / in their own best interest. And will want to “wait and see” unless they’re personally impacted.

DC is a liberal bubble. People outside DC don’t care about this because it doesn’t refute the narrative they believe. They will need to feel this personally to do something and even then, it may be 2 years before that something is to vote.

this seems like a winning formula. People need to hear how it will impact them personally and they need a new person to blame for it (instead of the immigrants and DEI hires they think are to blame now)

This is spot on. Short simple easy to understand anecdotes. People who we need to flip their position don’t want to be given a lecture in AP Government. They also don’t want to be patronized by an elitist liberal.
