Keep it two ways. Remove parking on the westbound lane and install a two way raised lane for scooters and bicycles.

I live on Edward Street and work at The Maritime Centre. I use Morris Street both ways every day both by bike and by car. I regularly see big trucks on it. There is a crossing guard for the school/seniors. There are three large residential buildings whose parking lot access is from Morris St.

They used Morris as an alternate route during the early phases of the Cogswell project. It is the alternate route if the Lower/Upper Water Street is blocked for any reason.

Nice day for a ferry ride. If you are feeling like a walk, you can hop on the Woodside Ferry and walk along a section of the Trans Canada trail all the way to Alderney Landing and take the ferry back to Halifax. Stop in at Evan’s patio at Alderney Landing for a refreshing beverage
