This is gross. Blame the victims for not anticipating drivers running stop signs or red lights and then tilt at windmills to any design based solutions to mitigate that type of behavior.

And this right here is why Kershbaum should not have been confirmed. @councilofdc.bsky.social when asked by the transpo committee earlier this year, she played dumb about this law. Ridiculous. DC can't have good traffic regulations because the administration doesn't give a shit.

Two unrelated cyclists queued at a light on Conn Ave where there should be a bike lane but @mayorbowser.bsky.social decided parked cars are better. Nimbys in this area suggest that people like this don't exist and if they do they are running red lights.
