If iOS complains that it cannot install a software update due to storage constraints, it should act accordingly and delete unnecesary iOS and System Data files

Funny that google warns people that its own mobile services have access to screen contents.

I try to like foldables, but I just can't get myself to accept both the (for me) insufficient durability and the hefty price tag. Also, I am a person that very much doesn't see the appeal of folding my phone open to text, scroll social media or control smarthome or music.

How the hell is ANYBODY using ANYWHERE CLOSE TO 2.5 GB of mobile data per day?!

Knox is better at keeping people from messing with the System than iOS. Everything "Protected by Knox" stops working immediately once tampered with, whilst iOS even lets you still access a lot of sensitive stuff when jailbroken and then messed with...

At this point, the EUs involvementhas gone too far. I support the decision to force both USB C and alternative appstores, but doing such crap like suggested in the article by
@markgurman.bsky.social
is insane.
A company that has built up a OS should be able to at least retain some control.

I have always struggled to like the very sterile and tinkerunfriendlyness from MacOS. Also, hardware-vise, ThinkPads outdo MacBooks both in longevity, versitility and repairability.

Problem: Microsoft confirms more Ads in Windows 11 for COD BO6 and Defender (www.windowscentral.com/software-app...)

Solution: Stop using Windows 11

I agree *except* for apps or features that *require* server usage. That does not include you, Microsoft Office or Creative Cloud

Objectively yes. Sure, it always sucked that Apple had to defy all standard, but to this day, lighting is the only port that never failed on me. Also, being reversible is such a great thing.

This will not happen. Microsoft is now actively destroying the Office product line, the last one that was free from most fuckery. The new Outlook is worse then the old one in all imaginable ways so a forced migration is a slap in the face of users that WILLINGLY stayed on classic

I dont want the UI I am accustomed to to change, that is always a headache. Software updating without fixing bugs or adding features is annoying and kinda frustrating though

Windows Setup Installers that ONLY INSTALL TO APPDATA are the worst. Why?

1. Unnecessary - It is a waste of time
2. App breaks if you want to install it to anywhere BUT appdata
3. Appdata makes it ridiculously hard to manage apps installed there

I think we can all agree that this design is
A: ugly as shit with the seem on the back creating a two tone finish
B: not gonna happen, as Apple wont EVER release something with this noticable and visible of a material border in 2024.
