I'm giving a talk on the Viking Age and its impact on Ireland for the local Irish Coastal Club on February 13th at the Pawcatuck Firehouse (CT). I'm already looking forward to talking about the archaeological and textual evidence, as well as dispelling some of the myths.

Lots of wonderful people are included in this list if you are interested in the Viking Age and the early medieval period!
I've started a (very incomplete) Starter Pack for the Viking-ists of Bluesky. I will have missed people in these early days, so please let me know anyone I've missed, or if you want to be added!

I created a LibGuide that might be useful for some people. While not comprehensive (my original plan had far more resources), it provides an entry point on the subject of the Viking Age in the British-Irish Isles.

New to the platform!

While at EAA last year, I was able to explore the Ulster Museum and marvel at all of the different artifacts. Here is a photo of a 9th-10th c. brooch found near Ballymoney, County Antrim
