I produce a video essay show called True / Neutral and design games. Specifically, a game called Gestalt that involves a nested reality structure. I am awful at talking about my stuff.
I think there is a distinction, very subtle, between a tradition 'surviving' and being rediscovered after suppression over and over again. Much of old paganism is a theatrical form of science and medicine, and every time its rituals are rediscovered, their practice resurfaces. Does this count?

They do think that jonesing for the book is complimentary. They don't understand that pressure + author is exactly how not to get Winds of Winter, or what have you.

Pay attention: this is EXACTLY the warning clarion being rung by the right about the far right circa 2012-2016. This is the moment to begin ignoring our fringe, and perhaps the last.

Precisely autocorrect + text predict + search. What upsets me is less the overestimation of something designed neither to be nor mimic intelligence, but to pass turing, and more the extreme underestimation of even the dumbest toddler's near infinite cognitive capacity.
