Ran into some trouble while replacing my power steering pump yesterday and now I'm waiting for parts. I was frustrated because I wanted to finish something so I made this.
All copper and just under 2 inches tall, the largest cap is a 1978 penny and the stipes are hammered. I'm making more of these

I finished all the credits I needed to complete my Associates degree in Art and I spent a chunk of this semester jumping through hoops to graduate and there's someone at the school who has been extremely helpful in all that and I noticed she has a collection of knickknacks, so I made this for her

My great-grandfather was an artist in Chicago. He made this ukulele from a cigar box for my grandmother when she was young, sometime around 1940ish. It's in sad shape right now, but I plan to eventually use my luthiery skills to restore it to playable condition for my daughter, who plays ukulele

Made from scrap, except for the cap. I made this for a local artist I respect, but honestly don't know if I'll have the nerve to give it to them. We'll see, maybe I'll just sell it and give the money to my local homeless. I dunno. I also really like it tho. This's been in my head a couple months now

Sometimes I get an idea that turns out way cooler than I imagined. I wanted to make "skeleton" stipes, but what I ended up with was these War of the Worlds "Martian Tripod" looking things. They also look like the Ents from LoTR, so I named them Entshrooms

My first pair of mushroom earrings. I gave these to my daughter, but I will be finishing another pair this week, and probably a couple more over the coming weeks while I refine the process of making them. Also realized that I should be making some sort of special packaging for more of my art

I want to take weekly pictures of the aquarium to monitor the progress as the plants fill it in, but I also got this nice shot of its "moonlight" cycle

Last weeks uranium glass earrings weren't dangly enough, but I still have people who wanted them. So this week I made 4 more pairs, but dangly this time. Shown under normal light and also 365mn UV light. 2 pairs are spoken for, but I have 2 more available
