Patriotism is an emotion...it's a "feeling" of love and devotion to the country. It's not something that can be forced on anyone or expected. No one becomes an air traffic controller as a show of their love for the country. They do it for a paycheck.

Didn't know a "patriotism" oath was part of becoming a controller. And the ones that didn't come to the TOWER to work were likely working at the PAYING jobs they had to take. Not everyone is wealthy/has funds available to pay expenses without a paycheck

What is now the DOD was NEVER called "Dept of war"
The National Security Act created the National Military Establishment to consolidate what was then the "War dep" & the Navy dep. This act created the Department of the Air Force & the CIA.
This entirely new group was later named the Dep of Defense.

The ACA (Affordable Care Act)-the actual name- is a LAW that directs what people are entitled to from health insurance. When people purchase insurance using the ACA MARKETPLACE, they are buying insurance from Blue Cross, Aetna, etc.

Instead, the tax credits help the policy holders pay for those premiums. People COULD choose to pay the full premium and take the tax credit as a refund when they file their taxes. Either way, the insurance company gets the SAME amount of money! He's an idiot like Trump.

He's saying it again "subsidizing insurance companies"...that's the new talking point and it's absolutely absurd! If there were no ACA tax credits, the insurance companies would getting that money directly from the policy holders (those that could afford them)!
