We work to expand and improve the quality of long term care programs to ensure that low income DC residents with chronic needs can age in the community safely.
Today, I had the honor of testifying for the DC Coalition on Long Term Care regarding aging issues before Councilmember Anita Bonds. The city is encountering financial hurdles following reduced tax revenue post-pandemic, changes in Medicaid and potentially Medicare aid and federal staff reductions.
