The best season imo. We’re on Season 3 episode 6(?) and it’s good but I was saying to A last night that it’s just not the same without Tanya and Valentina 😂

I remember when my uni had to register their glider with the CAA and get a G-Reg (this wasn’t a requirement until like 2007), I campaigned to have “G-SPOT”, but it quickly turned out that had already been used on a destroyed aircraft. 😩

Apparently at some point in the 80s my late Dad had looked into buying one, and actually went to a viewing, but decided against going further because the then current owner was apparently very messy. The resentment when I found out. 😩🙈

From memory of a few flights on them, they were noisy and not particularly great from the passenger experience perspective either. MD11 was only slightly better.

I mean all three really, but I’d say Tallinn, Vilnius then Riga in that order of preference. Tallinn is imo the most beautiful but can be slightly spoilt during the day by cruise ship groups though. If going to Vilnius, I also recommend a visit to Trakai, particularly if the weather’s nice.

I ended up loving it (for all the reasons mentioned by others) but I found it took longer to seduce me than the other Baltic capitals (Tallinn and Vilnius ofc).

There’s an amazing Indian place opposite the Edwardian Hotel called Asha’s that A and I go to whenever we’re in town, and also the hotel itself has an expensive but great Japanese-Mexican restaurant called Peter Street Kitchen.

We have to keep two (clearly labelled!) thermometers at home for this reason, because I’m used to taking temperatures orally, whilst Adrien only does it like in France… And you don’t really want to mix up the two! 😅🙈

They’re so useless these days though, unless you’re literally requesting tickets to something they partner closely on, or one of their own events. You can no longer ring them for random advice or bookings/requests which is crap considering they keep increasing the fee.

So sorry Dave. ❤️

I also recently got some pedals. They’re kind of fun, but as my chair both swivels and rolls, with no lock function for the latter, it makes it annoying to use pedals when you push your foot and end up kicking the chair backwards. 🙈 I also find them not sensitive enough to steer on taxi very easily.

Covid to thank for quite a lot of that. 😩

At least WhatsApp is one product Meta mostly just bought for the user base but hardly makes them any money.

Maybe their payment software is managed by the same people that were responsible for Sainsbury’s introducing support for contactless about 3 years (2017) after almost every other store on the high street.

Hey it’s already a miracle they implemented it for the whole of IdF, let’s not push expectations too far! 🙈
