I think @neguse.house.gov is a rising talent. Dems should elevate him however possible. He's likeable, smart and speaks directly and with a clarity of purpose.

I acknowledge that the AI response was sloppy--not that it was wrong.

Criticizing my use of AI is easy. But I believe the AI's answer to this question is basically correct. ISP policy requires troopers to wear name tags. And there is a bill proposed to make that law. If you have contrary evidence, please feel free to send it.

I think you just need to pull down, to see the thread above. Anyway, no big deal. I agree that Lincoln, Roosevelt and Eisenhower are not representative of today's Republican Party. That was my original point.
October 5, 2025 at 12:33 AM
You and I don't disagree. But your comment makes it sound like we do.
October 5, 2025 at 12:09 AM
I take your point. I'll do better in the future.

Truman was a Democrat.
October 5, 2025 at 12:02 AM
Yes, my point exactly.
October 4, 2025 at 11:58 PM
You are making the same point that I was making. Lincoln was the first Republican president. The Republican Party was once decent. It no longer is, and really it hasn't been for a long time.
October 4, 2025 at 11:57 PM
Umm...
October 4, 2025 at 10:10 PM
Ridiculous. I'm not gaslighting anyone. You don't know me. Don't assume you know my mind.
October 4, 2025 at 10:01 PM
You might be right. I guess I shouldn't have expected to find them easily on Bluesky.
October 4, 2025 at 10:00 PM
Hey, folks--If you basically agree with me, please don't quibble about my comments. It's not helpful.
October 4, 2025 at 9:58 PM
I'm willing to learn more about Eisenhower. But I think we've now diverged from my initial point.
October 4, 2025 at 9:49 PM
I'm rather puzzled by the fact that you appear to be arguing with me.
October 4, 2025 at 9:27 PM
I feel you, man. But Abraham Lincoln was decent. Teddy Roosevelt was decent. Dwight Eisenhower was decent. That is what makes the current @therepublicanparty.bsky.social so completely despicable.
October 4, 2025 at 9:14 PM
@therepublicanparty.bsky.social I blame the Republican Party. You lot have lost your minds! Have you no decency?
October 4, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Ah, I see what you did there!

Just commenting here to give props to the guy that wrote this song, the legendary, died-to-soon Tim Buckley, absent father of the legendary, died-to-soon Jeff Buckley.

@adamisacson.com Thanks for this. But I wish you would have composed your caption differently. Casual viewers might misinterpret it as favorable for Trump; only after further examining the excerpt does it become clear that Trump's policies are actually INCREASING the available supply of narcotics.

It's not polite to make fun of people because of how dumb they look.
